Viktor Wolf (1986) is a Berlin-based musician and composer who studied Jazz Saxophone at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim. In 2011 he graduated from the Jazz Institute Berlin . Viktor Wolf is a member of numerous international bands and has participated in various theatre productions. He has performed worldwide and his work can be heard on CDs, radio and television recordings. As a composer, Viktor writes the music for his own ensemble PanoramaPeng.
He has played with jazz artists such as Aly Keita, Hayden Chisholm, Claudio Puntin and has toured with bands like MardiGras.BB, Flo Mega & The Ruffcats, Rotfront and Marshall Cooper. As a musician he has traveled throughout Europe and participated in concert tours in the USA, Mexico, India, Morocco and Yemen.
Viktor performs on many different woodwind instruments: soprano, alto, tenor, bariton, bass saxophone, clarinet, bass and contrabass clarinet, flute and piccolo. This diversity of range and instrumentation has made him one of the most requested sidemen for large ensembles among the Berlin and German scenes. Among others, he has played with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, the Ed Partyka Jazz Orchestra, and Malte Schiller's Red Balloon. He was Principal for Musical Productions in "West Side Story" at the Deutsches Theater in Göttingen and CHICAGO in the Theater des Westens in Berlin, and at the Deutsches Theater in Munich.
